Steve contacted us here at Basement & Radon Solutions to install a radon fan on his exisiting passive radon system before he placed his home on the market. Then to have a radon gas test done after the fan was installed. The previous radon test came back at 22.6pCi/L which is elevated.Â
Solutions provided:
Basement & Radon Solutions, BRS Pros, finished the piping and installed a HP 220 radon fan to Steve’s partially finished passive radon system. The reason for this is because a passive system has no suction to get rid of the radon gas. The new radon fan will create the negative pressure required to remove the radon gas before it enters the home. We also conducted a 48 hour radon test after the radon fan was installed. The radon test came back at 3.4pCi/L which is a great improvement! It was such a pleasure helping Steve make his home happy, healthy, and safe!
