Basement & Radon Solutions, BRS Pros installed a sub-slab garage radon mitigation system. The radon suction line was installed in the basement slab. Then, a 5 diameter hole was drilled through the concrete slab to the earth below where a suction pit was created. A 4″ schedule 40 PVC suction line was installed in the slab, sealed, and then was extend into the garage and through the garage attic. The radon fan was mounted in the the garage attic. Then, the radon fan vent pipe was extended through and properly flashed above the roof of the home. The manometer gauge (homeowner radon fan monitoring vacuum gauge)was then installed on the suction line pipe in the garage. We also did a post mitigation test for Scott & Jennifer that came back at 1.1 pCi/L! It was a joy to help Scott & Jennifer make their home safe, happy, and healthy!”
