Basement & Radon Solutions, BRS Pros, firstly installed a Fast Drain System with a Pro-Series Pump System for Paul. Both of these systems will help remove any water in Paul’s basement. Secondly, we installed a Premium 15-mil white antibacterial 100% woven fiber reinforced vapor barrier. We put the vapor barrier on the foundation wall above the Fast Drain/Pro-Series Pump Systems. This vapor barrier protects against moisture, mold, mildew, humidity, and wall leaks! Lastly, we helped Paul with his foundation by using Fortress Straps. These carbon fiber/kevlar straps top bracket is secured /bolted to the rim joist. The steel duel leg bottom anchor is drilled and epoxied to the floor to prevent wall shear, making it 125 times stiffer than the competition. High strength epoxy was then applied to the wall and the straps to create a lifetime of structure warrenty where they were installed. These starps can also be painted in the future for a more aesthetic purposes. it was a pleasure helping Paul make his home happy, healthy, and safe!
