Basement and Radon Solutions, BRS Pros, installed a Radon Remediation System. Our Submembrane Radon Mitigation System seeks to mitigate the radon gas from the crawlspace before it enters the home. We do this by encapsulating the crawlspace and having our radon piping system underneath the liner. Melvin had us install the radon vent pipe through an interior closet (instead of having it run along the exterior of his home). The radon fan that connect the radon suction line and the radon vent pipe comes with a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty. (Radon fans have an average life span of 8-10 years and should be monitored via the manometer). Our post mitigation radon test shows that we were able to bring Melvin’s radon level from 5.9 pCi/L to 0.7 pCi/L!!! It was our pleasure helping Melvin make his home happy, healthy, and safe!
