Basement & Radon Solutions helped Laura by replacing her radon fan with a GP501 fan. We also added a Radon System Alarm – Radon System Alarms are now required on all new residential radon systems. This unit is a vacuum monitoring device utilizing piezo resistive pressure sensor (PPS) technology. This alarm will provide an audible and visual indication to alert the homeowner when the radon system is not moving sufficient air in the event of a power loss to the system.
