Basement & Radon Solutions, BRS Pros, did quite a bit of work for Joy & Brian and it went like this…1. Cleaning- We pulled down all of the old insulation in the crawlspace. Then we cleaned the sub-floor for wood deaying fungi and organic growth. After that we fogged the crawlspace with an EPA registered fungicide, cleaner, and deodorizer. Which kills 99.9% of mold spores and will inhibit the growth of mold and mildew. After the cleaning is all done we installed all new insulation.2. Hydra-Channel- We dug a trench adjacent to the foundation footer along the full interior perimeter walls and installed the Hydra-Channnel drainage system. The Hyrda-Channel is engineered fusion of welded high strength polyethylene. This water system will remove storm water up to 70% faster than a pipe and stone system. 3. Waterproofing- We installed a Premium 15-mil walk on/store on liner. This liner is white, 100% woven reinforced, and antibacterial. This liner will not let mold or mildew grow on it. This liner was installed to the walls, floors, and pilers of the crawlspace. 4. Dehumidifier- We installed an Aprilaire 1850 Dehumidifier in the now encapsulated crawlspace. This model removes up to 95 pints of moisture per day! And helps keep Joy & Brian’s crawlspace nice and dry.5. Hyrgometer- We installed a Hygrometer Remote Humidity Sensor in the crawlspace. This Hygrometer is wireless and makes it super easy to keep an eye on your crawlspace. It tells Joy & Brian the temperatue and humidity of their crawlspace.It was a pleasure helping Joy & Brian make their home happy, healthy, and safe!
