Basement & Radon Solutions replaced the non working radon fan and installed 10ft of our carbon fiber strap. We replaced the non working radon fan with a new GP501 fan. This fan comes with a 5 year manufacture warranty. With the radon fan we also installed a Radon System Alarm. Radon System Alarms are now required on all new residential radon systems. This unit is a vacuum monitoring device utilizing piezo resistive pressure sensor (PPS) technology. This alarm will provide an audible and visual indication to alert the homeowner when the radon system is not moving sufficient air in the event of a power loss to the system. Then, we added our 10ft of carbon fiber strap. The wall was grooved 1/4″ to 3/8″ at the cracks opening. Then, cleaned and repaired with the high strength epoxy and carbon fiber reinforced strap.
