During a real estate transaction a radon test came back elevated at approximately 6.1 pCi/L even though the home already had a radon mitigation system in place. The home sat on both a basement & a crawlspace.

Basement & Radon Solutions was able to add additional sections to the radon mitigation system. After installing the additional radon mitigation features we were able to bring the radon level from 6.1 to 2.4 pCi/L! The EPA recommends testing your home for radon every 2 years as the soil conditions underneath your home can change as well as when the home ages various additional factors can come into play. You should also test before and after any major renovations to your home. The EPA recommends mitigating your home if your radon level is 4.0 pCi/L or above.
