Basement & Radon Solutions, BRS Pros, installed a FastDrain Basement Waterproofing System for Dr. Beth. WeĀ installed our FastDrain sub-floor dewatering system on the left, rear and right walls of the basement. Also we installed ourĀ GrateSump basin with a removable (flush with floor) lid covered with stone in the right rear corner of the basement (as looking at the front door). The system includes 1/3 HP cast iron primary pump with dual float cage that protects debris from the float. Included is a deluxe controller that monitors the pump and power conditions. It will also sound an alarm if problems are detected and/or a high water warning in the sump. Additionally, it activates the pump weekly to exercise and extend pump life. After that, we also installed our FastSump Inverter battery back up system for the primary sump pump. It is a 900 Watt with 12 Volt sealed battery, battery box, and stand for the inverter. It’s a heavy duty marine lead acid 12 Volt 140 amp-hour battery to provide power-loss protection for the FastSump Pump. With this basement waterproofing drainage system Beth’s house is protected even if the power goes out!
