Basement & Radon Solutions made Allison’s existing passive radon system an active one. We installed a RN3 fan and a Radon System Alarm at Allison’s. Radon System Alarms are now required on all newly installed residential radon systems. This unit is a vacuum monitoring device utilizing piezo resistive pressure sensor (PPS) technology. This alarm will provide an audible and visual indication to alert the homeowner when the radon system is not moving sufficient air in the event of a power loss to the system. After we installed the fan we preformed a post radon test that came back at 1.2 pCi/l!
